Type of Licensing for the Use of Copyrighted Works

Authors who publish in this journal agree to the following terms:

Authors retain the copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of first publication under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License, which permits others to freely distribute the published work provided that proper credit is given to the authors of the original work and to the first publication of the work in this journal.

Authors have the right to enter into separate additional agreements for the non-exclusive distribution of the work in the form in which it was published in this journal (for example, to deposit the work in an institutional repository or to publish it as part of a monograph), provided that a reference to the first publication of the work in this journal is maintained.

The journal’s policy permits and encourages authors to post their manuscripts on the Internet (for example, in institutional repositories or on personal websites), both prior to submission of the manuscript to the editorial office and during the editorial review process, as this promotes productive scholarly discussion and positively affects the timeliness and dynamics of citations of the published work (see The Effect of Open Access).
