Political imperative of transformations in the EU through the prism of the concept of the "third way".

The article is devoted to the study of the political component of the development strategy of the European Union at the beginning of the XXI century. The author proposes the concept of cognition of the processes of European integration through the prism of philosophical understanding (merism and holism) combined with the use of a synergetic approach.
The main provisions of the concept of the "third way" as a component of the political imperative of the development of the EU are analyzed.
Considering the tendencies of the development of the European Union in the last 10 years, one can note the existence of a systemic crisis, which consists in slowing down the institutional processes, the impossibility of further integration.
One of the key components of the development strategy of the Communities at the present stage is the development of "human capital" as the basis for the functioning of the integration system.
