The article is devoted to the study of regional security by «non-Western» theories of international relations. «Non-Western» or post-colonial theories of international relations arose as a critique of classical theories, which primarily analyze security trends and the formation of regions in the Western world. The development of the trend towards the regions formation by so-called Third World countries is revealed the ineffectiveness of classical theory in its studying. The author analyzes the approach of «non-Western» theories of international relations to the study of regional security on the example of «subaltern realism» (M. Ayoob) and the theory of regional war and peace (B. Miller).References
